I just came back from jusco not too long ago. That place is HUGE man! and lots of places to shop too. Too bad I didnt get to shop cos I had to look for the water booties. and that cost only 9 friggin bucks!! when back home it will be 23. But its kinda ugly, not that I will use it often. And I ate this really nice potato jacket thingy, which was super fragrant and yummy.


Ding made me so happy yesterday =))

I so so have to blog about yesterday. I, SHELLY YEO, for the first time in my entire 16 plus years of life ran 2.4km WITHOUT stopping =) WOOHOO. Now THAT is what I call an achievement. maybe it aint big deal to you BUT for someone who always runs and stop and runs and stop during her 2.4, its a big big deal. But I almost died after that PE lar, after THE run, we had to do crunches, pushups, tuckjumps, squats, shuttleruns, standingbroadjumps and 50 jumping jacks. I think I was almost crying deep inside halfway through my jumping jacks. BUT I SURVIVED. HA HA HA. Now you understand why I hate PE? I cant wait to get napfa over and done with so we all can play games =)



you know, when I was an ignorant lil kid, I thought qing ming jie was all about the burning of offerings/joss sticks/incense paper. But when I got older, I realised that really, qing ming jie isnt about that. To me, during qing ming jie, its the time when we pay respect and honour our ancestors. Its the time where we show our appreciation to them, where we take the time to care for their tombstones. Its actually a universal thing really, regardless of race, language or religion if we look beyond all those offerings stuff. I think
